REVIEWER
POLICY

At Clarisys Audio, review opportunities are a privilege, not an entitlement. Our loudspeakers are built in limited quantities and represent a substantial investment in materials, engineering, and manufacturing. As a result, we are highly selective regarding who receives products for evaluation.

PRESS & REVIEW POLICY

Clarisys Audio loudspeakers are highly revealing musical instruments. They require an exceptional listening environment, carefully selected electronics, proper setup, and an experienced listener to fully understand and communicate what they are capable of.

For this reason, we are extremely selective when it comes to press reviews.

Going forward, Clarisys Audio will only make review products available to reviewers whom we personally trust and who meet the highest standards in listening experience, room acoustics, electrical setup, reference equipment, and musical understanding.

At this time, our preferred review partner is Roy Gregory of GY8. Roy is an experienced reviewer with a highly refined listening room, excellent reference equipment, deep musical knowledge, and regular live concert experience. He is trusted by leading flagship brands around the world and understands how to evaluate products at this level.

We will not provide loudspeakers to general magazines or reviewers whose listening environments, systems, or experience do not meet the standards required for a fair and meaningful evaluation of Clarisys Audio products.

This policy is not intended to exclude serious journalism. It is intended to protect the integrity of our products, our customers, and the review process itself.

We Select Reviewers – Not the Other Way Around

Clarisys Audio does not operate an open review program.

We receive numerous review requests each year and decline the majority of them.

Review opportunities are granted only to reviewers, publications, and content creators who meet our internal standards for professionalism, technical competence, credibility, and audience relevance.

The fact that a reviewer requests a product does not create any obligation on the part of Clarisys Audio to provide one.

We reserve the absolute right to approve or decline any review request for any reason.

Review Loans Only

All products supplied for review remain the sole property of Clarisys Audio.

Products are provided exclusively as temporary evaluation loans.

MAXIMUM LOAN PERIOD

  • Maximum review period: 90 days (3 months)
  • No extensions
  • No renewals
  • No exceptions

At the end of the review period, the product must be returned.

No Free Equipment

Clarisys Audio does not give away products. Ever.

We do not gift loudspeakers, upgrades, accessories, cables, parts, or any other products to reviewers, publications, influencers, or content creators.

  • —A review does not earn ownership of a product.
  • —Publication of a review does not change ownership of a product.
  • —Positive coverage does not change ownership of a product.
  • —Awards do not change ownership of a product.
  • —All review equipment must be returned.

No Equipment-for-Coverage Arrangements

Clarisys Audio does not exchange products for any form of coverage, promotion, or consideration, including but not limited to: reviews, awards, rankings, advertising, endorsements, social media exposure, YouTube content, editorial coverage, promotional activities, other audio equipment, or any goods or services.

There are no barter arrangements, side agreements, or informal understandings.

Editorial Independence

Reviewers are free to publish their honest opinions.

We do not require approval before publication.

We do not negotiate review outcomes.

We do not request positive conclusions.

A reviewer may like our products, dislike our products, or reach any conclusion they believe is appropriate.

Transparency

We encourage all reviewers to disclose that any Clarisys Audio product supplied for review is a temporary loan and remains the property of Clarisys Audio.
